Bugs / Re: Missing "Cunard controls" layout

PS: The same has occured with the "Stena controls" layout, which is pretty useful. I miss its classic steering wheel.
I really hope that both missing layouts, the Cunard one and the Stena one, will be restored as soon as possible.
Bugs / Missing "Cunard controls" layout

Hi. Sailing on QM2, after a PC reset, I realized that the "Cunard controls" layout was missing, and replaced by an uncomfortable and impractical design.
Can anybody tell me what happened? Maybe a Trademark Request?
Bugs / Reset ship to 0

Would it be possible to stop resetting the ship position to 0 degree, i.e. confluence of Greenwich Meridian with Equator line?
This is is always happening to me when one of the ships is getting stuck on a land. So that, the ship is set back to somewhere in the coasts of Africa, next to Gulf of Guinea in the Atlantic Ocean.
And this is very annoying.

Thank you

Hi. I did a comparative graphical test in one of my useful harbors, COLONIA (URUGUAY) between the Stena Hollandica and the Atlantic Express by overlapping her many times to match the Stena length. The match is almost perfect, as you can see in the attached linked pic.

General Discussion / Purpose of customization for navigation areas
« Last post by Juan J. Fraga on November 16, 2017, 03:13:30 pm »
Hello, Mr. Webmaster. I´m a new user, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I recently discovered this website, which is really superb! Thank you for it!.
Now, I dare to suggest you, as far as possible, if you can program the ability that allow users to customize our navigation areas, (maybe using layers) to set up (for example) channel indicator buoys, or "isolate danger" buoys, according to the IALA system. This feature will help us very much to take advantage of the possibilities offered by the site to practice.

Thank you very much!

PS: If you need technical data about the River Plate area between Argentina and Uruguay, I can help you as a "zone pilot".

Hello. I picked up the Stena Hollandica from Río Grande and drove her to Buenos Aires (my current residence city), mooring her at Dársena Norte. If you do the same to your favorite base port, when you log out and then log in, you´ll finde the ship there. That´s an alternative way to set up a "base port".
Bugs / Suddenly all my ships dissapeared
« Last post by Wanderalbatros on October 25, 2017, 04:43:22 am »
Since this morning all my ships disappeared.
If i click on the menu "Continue Game" of and choose one of the ships there i get the Google Map without the ship but with the steering stuff somehow unavailable. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]
See the screenshot
What must be done in order to get back the ships?

Later Edit:
I cant add the attachment because:

Bugs / Re: Get stuck using barge in New Orleans

Same situation when i navigate through Dardanelles towards Black Sea.
I believe there is an issue with the accuracy of the maps.
For instance being in mode "(Geo)Physical" Map, if i double click on the Dardanelles, where is blue(i.e. is the sea) i am getting "Mixed" word. This is a place where i can get my ship Moored and anchored despite the fact that the ship is in the middle of the sea.
Also, if i double click on the land area i also get the word "Mixed" written on the screen and i could navigate the ship through this area, despite the fact that actually there is no water there.
So, i believe that the ship's engine dies because the map is "Mixed", no water.
Also, if there is an island-a rocky one and the double click says "Water", then the ship could navigate through the island without any issues. ???
