Title: Lost Adventure Path & End Goal when exiting

Hello,

I recently was doing the first river transport mission. It's a long one, so I moored the boat and then exited to the main menu. When I came back the next day and logged in, my ship is right where I left it, ready to go.. but the path I was following disappeared and I no longer see the red box where I'm supposed to finish the mission.

Do I need to restart this mission in order to complete it? Does the mission not save, only the location of the boat?
