Koblenz to Tier

I'm trying really hard to cross this lock, reversing and trying again and again with no success. Any tip on that? You could make narrow locks just a little bit easier for mortals ;D

Now I hit the wall and boom, thrown me somewhere I cannot move anymore. We could have some kind of cheat for not loosing all the trip in cases like this, moving backwards to were it was a few minutes before or something when we get stucked for minutes.

I understand the project is just launching (probably no beta), completely free of charge, and still a wip although looking terrific as a final product (congrats again on that). I wanna say thank you, just want to help, no need to hurry and take your time.

Yeah, I suspect you were hitting the lock a bit hard. The width is what it is. Ships like MS Alina are made to just fit. A bit like Panamax ships are made for the Panama canal.

Most likely you saw the ship oscillate after the initial collision and things got worse after that. I didn't think it was possible anymore to get into the situation you were in. I have some ideas to improve that.

And yes, I will change the anchor system so you can get back to your last Anchorage.

Great, should I get mission accomplished now if I start it over ?

I'm playing with 3 boats at the moment, would be too hard to center at the target as we keep ship centered? Or some way to find were the final target is, or all the ride shot preview. Sometimes may be hard to find the end of the mission like Antwerp to Rotterdan, the New Orleans approach etc

I like very much the accomplished missions on career.

"Should I get mission accomplished now if I start it over" I mean with the Ferry. But no worries, there is a lot to play with already.

Wow you got far! Good one! There was an error in a vector tile caused by an older version of my polygon editor. I corrected it now and sailed through nicely.

Pickup your ship with this link http://www.ships2career.com/sail.htm?category=river&ship=alina&location=test2
and make it your own by anchoring it. That will remove the undeserved damage rating.

The above link will only work for a short time.

Not easy but I managed to pass now. I can clearly see how difficult it can turn to deal with physics on locks like that. Nice trick to reset me there. Many thanks !

Getting there, now I got stucked on this lock near Neef. Seems like a wall somewhere, I can reverse and try again and again but no success.

Thanks Captain, I had a crew dredge the approach. Should be deep enough now.

You're good to resume your trip.
